A few days ago I discovered the existence of a particular brand. A clothing line that already at first glance transmits a unique sensation. A clothing line that was inspired by a philosophy widespread here in Italy : yoga.
Then reading some statements Karen Joyce , the designer of the brand, (of American origin but resident in Italy for a long time) I understood the reason for this “attraction” immediately.
Karen is very familiar with the world of fashion and has worked, in fact, for years for brands like Gucci , Bottega Veneta and Yves Saint Laurent. He says : “They were important years , but that made me lose sight of everything that was not directly connected with the work , including the affections” .
This reflects my story : I spent many years at a major luxury fashion house of the same caliber and I too felt the need to try to find a balance. After years of dedicated daily yoga practice , Karen has therefore decided to create this brand of clothing to be used “on the mat” and “off the mat” ( mat is going to the mat , an essential accessory for anyone who practices yoga) .
She so called the Grace brand to transmit immediately the idea of peace, relaxation, and harmony. Basic in shape, lightness of the fabrics , and color harmony, fit perfectly during the practice of Yoga, but also in everyday life.
Each collection is divided into two concepts: “on the mat” and “off the mat”, although many pieces designed for yoga are perfect to be worn outside of the gym.
