Spring is in the air and summer next to come. What an envy to blow the city and go to the seaside!!
Luckly I don’t have to wait a lot for my long week end on the Isle of Vulcano, in Sicily, that’s why I’ve already snoop around the web in order to find out some special place to go and… Jackpot! I got the one!
It’s the gourmet restaurant of Therasia Resort Sea & Spa**** (the only five star hotel on the isle) and it’s called “Il Cappero“: one Michelin star (recently gained) and open from April to October, the restaurant is managed by the Executive Chef Crescenzo Scotti great fun of Sicilian food.
In this taste temple, all the recipes come from Sicily but revisited in a unique way: speciality from the seaside as well as from the mountain. The big asset? The ingredients: fresh and carefully selected by the chef.
The ambience is sophisticated and romantic, the view on the seaside astonishing… I’m really looking forward to try this place!
